Hulu used to show free Star Blazers episodes, at least back in 2014. It had all three seasons: Quest for Iscandar, The Comet Empire, and The Bolar Wars....Not anymore, though.

I watched the original shows as a kid and never stopped being fascinated by them. It has a big cult-following in Japan which unfortunately, makes licensing the franchise expensive. All three seasons on DVD cost ~$650. Kinda hard justifying to the wife paying that much for a bunch of cartoons.

The last episodes of Star Blazers (or Space Cruiser Yamato in native Japanese) showed during the early 80's. Bell bottoms were still fresh. I do recall the episodes shown on PH TV were a mishmash of Star Blazers and Space Cruiser Yamato. One week, it'd be in English. The next week, it'd be in Japanese. I never saw Comet Empire or Bolar Wars in the PH though. I only watched them once I returned back here. All the episodes in the PH were from Quest for Iscandar.

I lost interest in anime after that. The next one I took an interest in was Black Lagoon which released over two decades later.

well... it may have lasted 27 months in your garage.
but how many more months was it inside your car, before you purchased and drove it? they don't install the battery only when the car is bought....
    ah well...

but may i ask... what is a decent longevity of such batteries? 2 years and 3 months seems acceptable to me...

I don't think it was sitting long since I got the 11th gen on the same month when it was first released.

3 years would make me happy. My 10th gen's stock battery lasted over 3 yrs. I just replaced it because it was way past its battery life.

I guess lying down or standing up makes a big difference when measuring my pulse.

Standing up at rest during the day: upper 50's to low 60's.

Lying in bed and just woke up: upper 40's to low 50's.
