Harking back to that woman who was kidnapped and murdered by the cops earlier this year....... I have seen that very same photo of her (that was shown in the news). Unfortunately, that photo was one in my sister's wallet back in 2013. When I didn't recognize the woman and asked who she was, my sister ignored the question and continued flipping through the photos. She was one of a few women my family and kin were very tight-lipped about. Whenever I asked about them during my last visit, not a word.

I wish they were more direct and point-blank like I am. Just tell it like it is.

Reminds me. While we were at the oriental supermarket yesterday, there were a couple of Asian boys who were eyeing my eldest kid. I made sure they never got a chance. They'll have to go through me. ;)

Concealed weapon permit in Arizona? What permit?

My home state of Nevada requires one, though. I don't have a hand gun. I have a couple of .22 rifles and a 12-gauge shotgun. I may have to go to Nevada and bring back my shotgun. Have a cartridge holder like this.

One for each ex-boyfriend. He He.

Those boys looked okay. They probably thought my daughter was Korean. She likes K-pop and follows its fashion trends.

Still..... I'm Daddy and that's my daughter.

They dont have ccw in arizona but i think they allow open carry there, my dillon reloader used to be downstairs, in our family room (sala)where we welcome guest, its infront of the TV, my mother dropped by and scolded me for keeping it there, so i had to bring it upstairs to the daughters room, that time she was still a baby so she was still sleeping with us, i really wanted her to be a lady shooter someday so we could shoot as a family, right now shes doing taekwondo, i guess thats a start

I currently cannot keep my guns at home. The wife is scared to death of them. I keep them at a sheriff's office back in Nevada. I used to have a smaller caliber Desert Eagle hand gun. But, I gave it to my nephew on his 21st birthday.

I'm not too worried. We have a cop shop (and fire department) less than a minute away. Plus, I'll bet many of my neighbors are heavily armed. I've seen a number of them come and go, carrying gun cases. Some thief or burglar try anything on our neighborhood, they're not going to get far.

I played my first full-court basketball scrimmage in three months. Ouch. My knees are pretty stiff. That or I'm just getting old. No gym tomorrow.

The big, tall bros weren't there probably because of the holiday weekend. So, us regular guys had the basketball court to ourselves.

Soaking in a hot bath helped loosen my knees. I guess I can go to the gym tomorrow. No basketball or ball juggling, though.

    Good for you, bro.

Since my major surgery 2 years ago, I haven't been able to play any pick-up games. Sheesh. Can't even jog anymore since my maintenance meds keep my heart rate down to just 70 bpm.

    Sucks big time.

Considering I'm in my early 50's, I guess I'm doing okay keeping up with guys (mostly USAF GI's) in their 20's. They're taller too. But, I also played a lot of soccer in the past. I still have that extra burst of speed that helps keep me a step ahead, just enough to avoid being blocked when I drive to the basket. I juggle a soccer ball regularly which helps keep my reflexes sharp.

I'm not sure how long I can keep it up. I know age will eventually catch up with me. But, I'm not giving up easily.

I used to take meds when I was overweight at 180+ lbs. That didn't stop me from hitting the gym. If I was out of breath constantly on say, the elliptical, I slowed down and lightened the resistance until I was comfortable and my heart rate was within the range I wanted. Then, on subsequent visits, I gradually increased the resistance. Then, when that setting feels like nothing, I increased it some more.

Well, you are doing alright, bro.

I just wish I could do some cardio exercise involving real sweat for a change. Cursed genetics. But hey, I shouldn't really complain coz the surgeon did a bang up job. Hehe!

Kuya, 180lbs is not overweight, if your overweight, im morbidly obese, if your pertaining to your BMI, its basically flawed...

Why BMI Is BS - YouTube

Our waistline will be our gauge, to chk if we are carrying unhealthy weight which always resides in our midsection, try this, height in inches/2= that should be our ideal waistline kuya.
