INC event tomorrow, NLEX traffic expected to be heavy.
Am wondering why there's so little advanced notice with these things. Parang late Friday na nagkaron ng balita about this

If it's an air-conditioned bus? Take a long nap. Or, bring a pocket TV with you.
The last time the wife and I both made the trip to the PH together, we had to make repeated trips from QC to the US Embassy and other parts of Manila. We always managed to find an air-conditioned bus with room for us to sit together. One of us dozed off while the other watched TV or admired the scenery.
I don't stress out that much when I'm a commuter/passenger.
For those who drive, I can imagine it's a different story altogether. Road rage isn't far from the surface.
Edit:
I never tire of watching daily life go on on the streets of Metro Manila, even when I lived there. I was always in deep thought about something I saw....and there's always something to see. I can only do that as a commuter, though.

Dunno if i'm getting old, or if traffic really has gotten worse...14 years ago i was still ok with...lately naiinip na ako, especially in a packed bus.
I kinda promised myself, kung maghahanap ako ng ibang trabaho, i'd find one closer to home. Dunno if there are many options though.
Pretty soon companies will need to put up dorms for their workers [emoji14]
Sometimes it takes me 30 mins for 2 blocks. It's horrible

thinking of food, this is the 1st time in months i felt cravings this late.
Traffic in Manila must really be that bad.
It wasn't so bad then. I recall after a (HS) soccer match at UST, some of my teammates and I walked from UST to the Manila City Hall. The traffic moved fast enough to generate a breeze to cool us off, somewhat. We were still sweaty when we arrived at the City Hall. So, we kept walking. We stopped next in front of Philippine Women's University. We were still sweaty. So, we kept going. By the time we were dry enough to board a jeepney, we were at Harrison Plaza. Then, we parted ways at Baclaran. It was a good walk. But, at least, the traffic moved along.
Hmm...in this weather, if the combined heat/rain/humidity doesn't kill you, the pollution will ^_^
i'm not sure about other parts of MM, but imho depende sa oras sir. If not rush hour, Taft Ave./Manila traffic is actually quite light; on EDSA, if i can catch a ride before 5pm, travel time is only 1-1.5 hours, ang luwag pa ng bus.
Traffic along Taft Ave. cor Buendia has progressively gotten worse. The cause(bus terminals) is obvious, but nobody seems to be bringing up the subject. Pati traffic coming from Buendia-Makati apektado na -- these days a lot of people get off at Bautista and walk to Taft.
When will they fix the lifter in our local gasoline service station? Not yet due but I'd like to have an oil change in one of our rides....
4 bus terminals + de facto illegal jeepney and FX terminal = traffic.
matagal na at pa-ulit-ulit na po itong na-ere sa radyo. it would appear, political will is lacking...
the edsa-approaching taft traffic is another such issue.
if i remember, the pasay segment of the mrt was originally planned as an elevated segment. what happened?

Our games at UST long ago were on weekends. So, yeah. The traffic wasn't too bad. The heat and humidity weren't too bad either because I spent so much time outdoors. My body equalized itself to the climate. I was a wiry young dude without an ounce of fat. We were already drenched in sweat from the game. No shower rooms or change of clothes. So, everyone went home right after the game. We actually welcomed any rain. The pollution part is true. I wiped myself with my handkerchief often. There was always a grimy, tar-like streak on it.![]()

Siargao are for the loner or who wants inner peace. Boracay crowd will not enjoy there. Ang dami australiano nag-asawa ng pinay para makabili resort. I stayed at siargao for 3 days ang sarap halos solo ko beach.
Surigao del norte the city proper lagi umuulan jan.
Pero i enjoyed more sa butuan going to hinatuan and bislig.
Ang iba lang sa province yung tubig sa shower parang ang tagal bumula nung dala ko soap at shampoo. Meron something sa water system nila na iba sa metro manila.
meron kaya navara base model sa showrooms?
puro higher tier nakikita ko online eh
