The wife n kids already asked where we will spend our summer vacation. I told em up north in Nevada with relatives. They all smirked back at me. They wanted SoCal. I said that will be good because we can stay with my cousin in Los Angeles. They all smirked at me again.

They want something farther south like Sea World and Disneyland. I said, "Fine. Who's going to help me drive? You think rush hour in Las Vegas was bad? Wait til we get to SoCal." Silence.......

"Oh. Sure. You want me to do all the driving and then complain I'm all cranky and a killjoy?"

At least, with relatives, I can relax without having to look for food or a place to stay and have the amenities of home.

Same with Upstate New York where we were. Nah. After six years in Upstate New York? They're sick of snow. Me? I love it!

There's still a lot of snow at the ski resorts of Lake Tahoe. But, the lake itself seems to have cleared out. I want to visit. I haven't been there for a few years now.


In any case, we'll probably head out to SoCal. The wife needs to visit the PH Consulate at Los Angeles (Wilshire Blvd).

friendly reminder: the proper procedure of jump starting a battery is negative cable must go on the chassis of the vehicle (away from the dead/weak battery and fuel lines) with a weak/dead battery to avoid risk of explosion...

pero nung sinubukan ko na mag jump start using those cables (with the negative cable placed on the vehicle chasis), hindi nagstart yung kotse ko (with a discharged battery). so I decided to put the negative cable sa battery mismo, and ayun, nagstart na ang kotse ko.
