so that, in the unlikely turn of events, they will have proof that the parent gave permission for the activity.
and the responsibility of the school or faculty for the well-being of your child, is always expected, to within the confines of reason.

and i don't really see the school officials' "moronic IQ" at play here at all.
Well, in the age of liabilities and all, schools need to be safe and parents properly informed.

I was surprised that in my alma matter's grade school, there are a lot of places that are already "Off Limits" nowadays (like yung rock garden). To think dati, it was the norm for one to get scratches and broken limbs. Also, what some teachers would do before will not pass muster in a supposedly socially correct world today.

Yup. I still remember my elementary school teachers. They were hella strict and wouldn't hesitate to give you a good batok or pingot if you misbehave or even miss an assignment.

Makes me wonder if that made our generation tougher than students of today who can't even seem to handle cyber-bullying or harsh language from teachers.

Kanina nasa SM Bicutan ako. Pauwi na ako then nung i oopen ko ung Vios ko using my alarm. It won't open. So balik ako sa loob to have my battery replace since ayon ang tingin ko na cause. Then pag balik ko after I have the remote's battey replaced. May 2 guard sa likod ng Vios ko at some mall customers talking. Ayun pala di din nila mabuksan mga sasakyan nila. May montero sa kabilang side na alarm ng alarm din. Almost half of the parked cars experienced the same problem. Akala ko nung una ako lang. I tried to unlock my car using my key then the alarm turned on, luckily for TVSS na natigil kapag inistart. I advice the same thing sa mga naka Toyota sa parking na di ma open cars nila. Yung naka Montero ang kawawa dahil di nila ma i start dahil yata sa immobilizer. I don't know what realy the cause is but it's kinda weird and scary.

Bawal ba google street view sa residential area? I saw some people (now living abroad) post their old homes (not in a village) on google street view.

Philamlife Village..... I remember the good times.....Taking a swim at the Philamlife Village pool after soccer practice.

I thought I saw this site's logo when I visited back in 2013. There it is!

Back then, the park used to be all grass. Plenty of room for soccer scrimmage. There also used to be a lot of foreigners at Philamlife who played soccer.

You're correct bro.,- tsikot.com banner in the middle left portion of the picture - a car accessories shop.....(right after the village guard[exit])... Used to be owned/managed by a very good friend.,..

I think it is not there anymore...

Bought and tested all Nescafes instant coffee variants: Regular, Gold and Decaf. Sweetened and with and without creamer.

    Awful...

Now m just tryn finish them for their caffeine and jitters.

I sorta miss Toby's Estates tangy coffee...even though i rated them as poor.

Still exploring the PH via Google Maps.....

My old college. I remember being shocked when out of some 30+ students in my first class, only four of us were left to go on to the 2nd semester. Out of five friends from HS, we were down to two. After the 2nd semester, it was just me. Ouch. I still have bad memories of writing 100-page reports (with diagrams/cross sections) by hand using a technical pen. I was usually failing at least one course because I often overloaded my schedule.

Then, I pissed off my mom when I decided to switch from BSME to Meteorology with just one year left. That meant going back here to the US.

I love street food. I remember some jeepney drivers (not here, but at Zapote) asked me why I ate there. They said it was for poor people. I told them, "So? The food tasted good. It was yummy"
