I've been getting a lot of calls and emails din, thanks to our school I guess. Sana nga po magising na lang ako na gusto ko na mag work. Haha!

May friend din ako na nagsign up na agad pero di siya napunta sa gusto niyang task. Naisip ko tuloy na wag masyado magmadali. I graduated in school somewhere in Taft. Most of my college friends live in NCR din, pero since galing ako sa province mas gusto ko yung buhay dito, tahimik, traffic tolerable pa, di masyado mabaha, pero lahat sila nagsasabi limited nga ang growth dito. I really don't mind earning less, or yung enough lang. Basta gusto ko lang umuuwi pa din ako sa bahay at kasama ko family (clingy? Hehe)

Pag nakakakita ako ng mga gusto ko bilhin na medyo mahal, yun, dun na pumapasok yung paghahanap ng work. :P

if i were an employer, looking for employees to work for me...
    1. fresh graduates offer me bodies who have no experience and i can more easily mold into whatever shape i want them in my company.
    2. graduated some time ago... not working yet... why? is there something wrong with him? this is one in-escapable question i ask myself when an applicant seems to have been... bumming around..
one prospect did give me a very good answer... "..helping manage the family's affairs..". well, it turned out, the family company was a big one.. and he had been handling everything because his parents had passed on...
    3. older graduate, but with experience.. is this experience beneficial to my company? is he worthy of piracy?

    good luck..

Thinking About a beach house. I know its not a necessity. But its one of those things i have been dreaming of since college. And the memories with the young ones will be priceless.

and the (in)frequency of using it...

Bro, last week in Boracay I saw a spot at station 2 with a 'for sale' sign. It's right at the beach front where the bars and restaurants are located. It has an existing oold building that looks abandoned. No price tag though.

Ang saya sana mag graduate na, pero di ko pa din ramdam yung "urge" na mag work na. Sigh.

And btw, dun sa post earlier about people claiming cars as their own, I refuse to "claim" our car even if it was bought since I graduated na. (less burden for them maybe) I've always wanted a brand new car kasi tingin ko nasasayang ang pera kakapagawa (as in weekly may sira), sabi ko para sa family naman, not for me. Ayun, 10 years later natupad na.

Sana din yung iba pag nakakita ng post na nabigyan ng car (tulad sa TGP), maging masaya na lang, we never know the story behind it anyway.
No offense, if I were an employer, I would not want an employee like you.

Fresh grad ka pa lang ganyan na ang view mo sa work, what more in 2 or 3 yrs? Normal fresh grads have so much enthusiasm towards work. They feel like they are out to conquer the world. That is the kind of attitude that makes good employees because they have initiative. Mga favorites ko ngayon sa work mga fresh grad, perky with no complaints and I could see the positive attitude. Yung mga tenured samin dami na reklamo kasi jaded na sa corporate. Yung attitude mo ngayon, attitude na ng tenured employee

Yep that's a red flag when screening your application, bakit ang laki ng gap?

Either walang kumukuha sayo which is a no-no, or ayaw mo talaga mag work which is again a red flag.

I graduated ng March, by May i started to work already.

Tama for newly grads gusto mo agad kumita and maging self sustaining.

No offense bro, i have nothing against sa parents still being a provider kahit we are entering our career years.

Still nothing beats the feeling of you're already sustaining yourself without the help of your folks.

At the same time, priceless feeling din for your parents to see na you're growing up maturely and making the right decisions for yourself.

    HTH.

Seriously sir, best to get a job Now. As soon as you can. Don't waste your time as you won't get younger but only older. You can rest when you retire. Start early retire early as i say. Working will make you responsible of manhood. It's good for you. A sense of accomplishments, maturity and security and your parents i'm Sure will be proud of you even if they don't say it. Take the plunge and be a Man i say.

It's good that you are honest. I appreciate that. But not everything we plan will go the way we want it to be. It's rough out there but you have to go forward always. This is your time to give back to your parents. Make them proud of you.

My son started work asap after college. Been working about 3yrs and counting. I tell you i'm very proud of him regardless of his achievements. It's not all about money but being responsible is the thing i like the most. You can't be too picky as you also have to enjoy your job but you will never know unless you try sir. Just Do It [emoji4]

    seriously...
when we got fresh out of school, we grabbed onto anything that offered some semblance of an income.
some of us would commute (mahal kotse!) from metro manila to as far as quezon and pampanga...
"lagarista", as what most of us were doing then, just so as to be independent of mamah and fafah.. they have suffered so very long already.. God bless them.."
"say yes to everything now.. but be sure you do what is expected of you.. when you are more comfortable, you can get rid of some things.."

Reminds me of when we lived in NY state (2008-2014). We bought a lakeside cottage where we can keep cool during the summer. Had to sell it when we moved back here to Arizona. I really wanted to stay (in NY) for good because I felt like we were moving up. But, my wife and eldest daughter could not handle the harsh winters.

Foreplay? You mean they get ***ually turned on giving money for nothing? Like a power trip or ego boost?
