For traditional people talaga yung money request is frowned upon. I think if the couple is avoiding unwanted gifts then a wedding registry is the best option, sometimes kasi you get invited to a wedding na hindi mo close tapos money request, nakakahiya naman magbigay ng P500. hehe. Pero may mga wedding ako napuntahan na yung mga naka register go as low as P200. For me, acceptable lang ang money request alone if the couple lives in another country or is leaving the country after the wedding.

But the very conservative approach is not to any for any gift at all. People bring gifts or give cash anyway when attending an event like a wedding so there is no need to spell it out.

With most modern cars... it's very negligible (unless you have A/C compressor drag).

Minimal but that happened to me na before. I turned off the AC still. Every drop of fuel counts na and besides pinapawisan na ko ng malamig sa kaba. After that incident I don't go below 1/2 tank na, in rare instances hanggang 1/4 na lang.

tucson no plates pa nga, open windows siya maambon pa naman

im wondering why lagi siya off-on ng engine

i assumed pinapatay niya to save gas until hindi na nag start.

natuyuan na ata, kawawa.

It would. Remember that when the AC engages, your idle rpm goes up to compensate for the load given by the compressor. So yes, it contributes to fuel consumption. As to how much or how many (litres), I have no idea.

If its really (really) traffic, I would just turn off the engine and sit in peace. I mean, what else can you do except grin and bear it.
