i also noticed,...bakit mahal? 'di ba, ordinary peanut bulbs lang yan?
mas mura yan sa auto parts stores. i tell the sales, "yung hindi mura". he hands me a popular brand.... but still cheaper than 199 bucks a pair.

btw,
the other week, i was replacing my innova's park lights in front, as one was weaker than the other. mea culpa naman.
the guy handed me the usual incandescent. then he adds, "gusto mo LED? heto puti, heto light yellow. halos ka-presyo lang ng ordinary peanut. 120 isang pares".
i got the light yellow LED pair. when i installed it, "wow!"

Pag ako naman bumibili ng incendescent bulb para sa kotse parati ko din pinipili iyong mas mahal hoping better quality sya

the LEDs were significantly brighter than the incandescents they replaced. and because of the light yellow color and not bright white, they weren't irritating at all.
now, if only they will last...
