Yup, 10% dp, 10% 3-yrs to pay * 0-interest, 80% balance due end of 2017. Now I'm having palpitations each time I think of the balance and where to get a loan.

If the value has increased (am sure it has) then i don't think you should have a problem with a loan for 80%. Worst case you can get a loan for 60% and find the other 20%.

Bahay for me, ewan ko pero nag-usap kami na doon kami titira sa parents ko. Kaso naka-hang yun attic ng bahay namin na pwede kong paayos para maging isang floor pa ng bahay. Pwede din na doon muna kami for a couple of years while saving up for a new house and lot. Only child lang kasi ako kaya yun ang naisip ko.

Dagdag mo pa ang starting capital ninyong mag-asawa.

Matagal pa naman, malayo pa ang dulo ng med school hehe.
Agree. Been in the wedding industry for 3 years and nalulua ako sa gastos ng mga nagpapakasal ngayon. In a few years, baka yang half million wedding budget eh simpleng wedding lang ang bagsak. Hmmmmm, civil wedding nalang tapos reception Mcdo o Jollibee, wala pang 30k gagastusin mo hahaha

The wife and I had a talk about a replacement for our now 10-year old Sonata V6. My wife wanted to replace it with a minivan.

But, I told my wife there's just the four of us now. It's not like before when we had relatives staying with us who were too young to drive. We had to pick them up and drive them back home. They have their own cars now and visit on their own. Those on the East Coast just fly over to visit. A minivan is not really required anymore.

So now, I'm planning to replace my old sedan with another sedan. My only two criteria is that it have a V6 and quicker/faster than my old car. The wife's input is she must be able to drive the car which means it must be AT.

The usual suspects are there: V6 versions of the 2016 Azera, Camry, Altima, and Accord. I've also added the 2016 Chrysler 200C. I'm getting a bit of that "Buy American" vibe. So, I'm leaning toward the 200C.
