I struggled to hold back. My hands were really itching to smack the sh*t out of them.

An honor standing does not mean you can't fight back or stand your ground. I was not an honor student in high school but I was student council leader. I don't condone bullying but if push comes to shove, there is no bigger bully than the duly-mandated student leader.

I was often bullied by my classmates during our elementary days because i had big ears. During grade 1-2 it was very rampant. Well i did not flinch because i did not want to get involved in any fights. When we reached grade 3 i had a growth spurt. Suddenly i was one of the biggest guys in the class. Then the bullies, who ironically were small guys just stopped.

As a young boy, my cousins and I were taught by my uncle not to back down from a fight. He had a set of boxing gloves and we'd set up a make-shift ring at my grandpa's place. I was one of the youngest in that group and I admit I got beat up by my older cousins. My uncle told us that boxing will teach us not to underestimate our opponents but in a fight outside, the objective is to deal the most damage in the least amount of time, and a chair or pole or any make-shift club will do more damage than your bare knuckles.

Was bullied in GS. Went home with a black eye once.
Was one of the bully in late HS, early college. Kala ko cool ako. [emoji852]️

[emoji38]
