It's painful to watch that bigger kid get beaten up. Must have been a humiliating experience for him.
That taekwondo kid is so disappointing though. Someone should have taught him that practicing martial arts does not give a person the right to act like a knucklehead.![]()
Keep the aggression in the ring.

Not sure if totoo.

Many parents enroll their kids in taekwando classes so as to learn how to defend themselves from bullies. If any of you have taken up martial arts, you will notice that taekwando has evolved from being a martial art to being a contact sport like MMA. Students are taught the basics of the sport, techniques, sparring etc... but restraint is not emphasized. One thing with a well trained martial artist is that he knows how much of an advantage he has over the other guy, that at any given moment, he can “cream” that person overwhelmingly. Such is the confidence that keeps him off the fight, but if he needs to, he will fight. This is why I prefer Judo over taekwando anytime. Put them together, Judokas will win anytime.
That kid will most likely be in MMA in the future.
Ateneo is trying their best to block the video..

Malamang madurog talaga bro pag yung mga hardcore delinquents ang nakaaway niya. Hindi na basta suntukan at sipaan lang, may kasama ng hampasan ng tubo o dos por dos.
Taekwondo is a good style but is somewhat limiting. The kicks are really fast but it's often high risk/high reward and their punching is poor. The most efficient striking style is Muay Thai. But then, no single discipline will do well against MMA since it's already a combination of different styles.
I agree though that the virtues of martial arts such as restraint, humility, and respect should be emphasized in training especially for kids.
On a lighter note, I was bullied during high school by this guy who calls me bading. Sa galit ko, kinurot ko, pinagsasampal at pinakain ko ng lipstick. Ayun, natauhan.
Ngayon, BF ko na siya.[emoji1787][emoji1787][emoji1787]
On a serious note, I will never tolerate bullying, be it at school or in the office.

I saw a video of the older brother getting beat up last night. But the video was sent via private viber so couldnt save it. The older brother was trying to fight the guy who actually saved him from being beat up pa sa more. It was a 1 on 1 fight and then someone stepped in to save him and then he tried to fight that guy pa. Punit yung shirt niya and he was bleeding. Happened in katipunan.

A future scenario, the kid who got beaten up goes on to graduate with honors in University & eventually becomes financially successful while the bully just manages to scrape by school & couldn’t hold a decent job. They meet in some future school reunion, bullied oozing with success & bully so envious & wants to beat up the guy but knows he can’t. Talo sya either way.
