Gusts at 190 knots or 352 kph (1-minute sustained measurement, PAG-ASA uses 10-minute sustained winds). Looks like it went lower too.

Will have to secure all the unbound stuff at the house today. Dami pa naman construction materials and discards ngayon sa bahay.

    Take care, boys & girls.

I hope this won't be a Milenyo. Milenyo was worse for me kasi Ondoy hindi naman kami binaha. Nung Milenyo daming natumbang puno at tagal nawalan kuryente. I will never forget when the storm suddenly stopped, yun pala dumaan na yun eye.

I don't know if I mag stock na ako ng gasolina for the genset. I'm afraid kasi na maglagay ng gasolina sa parking kahit malayo naman sa anything pwede mag spark.

Feeling ko hinde naman siguro mag black out ng matagal dito sa NCR.

^ let's just hope the typhoon won't devastate our power grid because i think we'll all be relying on our LGUs. wala pa akong directive nakikita from malacanang. very much unlike during the time ondoy (gma) and yolanda (aquino) struck the country wherein our then leaders faced the camera to address and reassure their constituents that the national gov't was preparing, informing, and bracing the country for what might transpire.

Goni ("Rolly") is now at 190 mph, Haiyan ("Yolanda") was at 195 mph. Goni's only half the size of Haiyan but it packs a lot of power.

Other typhoon trackers are also predicting Atsani ("Siony") to be at least 115 mph and hitting Northern Luzon.
