sirang sira schedule namin dahil sa ulan. I was looking forward to afternoon tea with my famiy, naka ilan reschedule and ultimately cancelled![]()
Kahit kami. Yung mga clients namin na dapat imeet kahapon at today. Cancelled din.
"Ma'am, di po kami makakatuloy today. Malakas po ang ulan."
"Anong ulan? Wala ngang ulan dito samin."
manang! ilabas ang mga pine-pekas!
on a happy note,
the weather yesterday was cold in the workplace, what with the sensitive equipment. hindi kami nag-pawis. i can re-wear yesterday's outfit!
heh heh heh.
I hope it'll be like this for the rest of the week

Agreed, parang local media completely missed the story.
I saw it on /r/space and from astronomy channels on youtube, but failed to find a single (timely) local report.
^ i actually read nasa's tweet about this. i even waited for the supposed 12:36 am event in the off chance i get to witness it even though i'm farther down south. hehe nasa visibility path of descent daw kasi ang kinaroroonan ko
many years ago, there was this local journalist who ... kinda specialized on science-related topics. i avidly devoured his articles back then.
it appears, none of our current writers has taken on his cape...
as a far aside,
total solar eclipses are kinda common. every 18 months or so.
but what makes it seem rare, is when it occurs in inhabited places where humen there can easily observe it.
