I cleaned those up yesterday, but I'm not at the board 24/7 so I can't delete the spams as soon as it's posted all the time.

FWIW, most flooded areas nowadays do subside quickly. It's often just the initial heavy downpour that overwhelms the drainage systems. It's not to say that our flood control systems are perfect, rather, it has improved significantly relative to how they were before, IMO.

yes, it has improved.
when i was younger, flooded streets would have remained flooded for 1-2 days. nowadays, within 24 hours ay tuyo na.
before the reclamation of manila bay, when the flood control projects had just been finished, when one could already see the lapping waters off libertad street in pasay, floods would subside in just a few hours.

Flooded nanaman Pala Ang madaming lansangan. Didn't realize the rain was strong in large portions of manila. Parang regular rain lang Kasi dito sa Amin. ��️
