My daily driver is getting a little filthy on the outside but it's hard to put in the effort to have it washed because with my luck, it'll just get rained on the moment I roll out of the car wash.

Same. Last time I had my car washed in the morning, it rained hard in the afternoon and it was back to how it looked before the car wash. May side comment pa from my son, "Sayang carwash dad".

I got my car washed on July 2nd. The sun was still shining bright, but just as I waited for the car ahead of me and it was my turn, a heavy downpour gushed in until I drove out of the carwash shop.

Here in our area, there are several 5 peso DIY car wash spots. 5 pesos can give you 2 minutes of water or soap. Tried it once when same thing happened to me after I drove out of the car wash shop. I park in a monthly pay parking area and washing is not allowed there.

Kung sa metro umulan, madalas may kasamang stain/soot. Madumi ang tubig ulan.

Kung sa probinsiya, ayos lang. Malinis ang tubig ulan, parang nag carwash na din. Punasan na lang.

Maganda din sa tag-ulan magpa wax. Para dudulas lang ang putik or stains. Or para kung matagal na walang wash, sa wax kakapit ang stains, mas madali alisin later.

Funny di ba when we were being roasted during the summer, we hoped and prayed for rain and now we're being drenched nag aayaw na rin tayo? Gov't offices have already sent people home, unfortunately that's not the case for private employees.
