    No. Raising will just mask the problem temporarily.

    Remove squatters and the kanals might be able to flow properly.

    Case in point, Manila has been raising some streets but flooding still occurs. Plus, sa manila ka lang makakakita na ang bintana nang old house is street level na.

    Taasan mo yung kalye without solving the drainage problem, tataas lang ang baha.

    The problem is yung water level ng dagat ay mas mataas pa sa mga low lying areas natin sa pinas.

    I guess it's working since UST-Espana all the way to Mabuhay Rotunda was flood-free.. Araneta Ave is a different story.

    Araneta Ave cor. E. Rod has always been prone to floods.
