It also rained here in QC Sandiganbayan area around 3. Medyo malakas ang ulan but it only took around 30 mins. I thought wala lang un but I heard in DZMM that a Starex and a car got submerged in flood in Mother Ignacio. Now I am even more surprised seeing those pics in Makati.
I wonder what is causing this?

TOP GEAR PHILIPPINES
From Keith Andrew Antonio: "Top photo was taken at 5:11pm. Bottom photo was taken at 6:47pm. Same spot on SLEX-Nichols Bridge."
From Niccolo Alexander Hamlin: "Hi, Top Gear. I'd like to share how terrible traffic was a while ago due to floods at the Buendia exit of the Skyway. I had never previously had to make a U-turn on the Skyway to get out of a jam."

it would be great if PAGASA can predict the specific location where heavy rains are expected(e.g. Pasay, Caloocan) ; that seems to be the trend recently, i.e. very intense rains in very small locations.
i read on Twitter that SLEX/Buendia was not passable to light vehicles as of 5-6pm...decided to wait it out here in the office. Yung traffic parang typical rush hour traffic lang, but it was already around 10pm na. No baha at the intersection though.
Parang araw araw na ito...
