yan din ang alam ko kung bakit nya pinatakbo yung gf nya. dapat ibitin ng patiwarik at ilublob sa isang drum ng suka yung holdaper.

kanina nga 9.30pm na ako nakalabas dahil may exam ako. nakakatakot sa likod ng engineering dahil sobrang dilim.

well kahit saan nman siguro pag panahon mo panahon mo. I stayed in UP all my life and wala pa naman ako naencounter na ganitong incident. siguro nasa tao na din yung pagiingat. ang laki laki din naman kasi ng UP kaya di makayanan ng 8 na pulis na naka duty.

UP police are under PNP, but their budget is pathetic. They don't even have a running car. It would be better if there were a full PD (serving areas around UP) squatting on UP grounds... other government agencies squat on UP land, why not one which would actually BENEFIT the university.

UP is really not a safe place. Naheadline din ako sa Collegian nung hinablot bag ko nun sa math building!

But the management cannot do much because of the very small budget allocation. Kaya NO TO BUDGET CUT! I hope now you understand why UP students go on rallies...

Suspected robbers kill student inside UP Diliman

Suspected robbers stabbed and killed a student of the University of the Philippines inside the Diliman campus in Quezon City late Thursday, it was learned Friday.

Police said victim Merwin Mendoza, 21, a BS Geological Science senior, was escorting his girlfriend Keleyse Fabian when three suspects approached them near Palma Hall at 9 p.m.

The suspects, Rodolfo Balais, an alleged member of the Sigue-Sigue Sputnik gang, Jericho Conde and Mark Aspiras, stabbed Mendoza in the chest and ran off with Fabian's hand bag, police said.

Mendoza was rushed to the UP Infirmary Building where he died minutes later.

Campus security later arrested Balais and Conde and recovered Fabian's mobile phone and P490 cash.

Authorities also picked up Aspiras at Old Balara near the campus, but he denied knowledge of the incident. Conde, however, identified Aspiras as the third member of their group who killed Mendoza.

The three are facing robbery-homicide charges.
