kupaloids::: thanks for the input. im leaning towards the tamiya 2wd like the King Blackfoot or Stadium Blitzer. Mura lang kasi. And based on experience, mas masarap patalunin sa rampa ang 2wd kesa 4wd.

Another Q (pasensya na pare). Alam mo ba yung tamiya Evo VII kit? TB01 chassis. Pwede kaya offroad ito?

kupaloids::: pahabol na katanungan...... ano mas ok? tamiya or kyosho? if ever rally car kukunin ko, i have to decide which is better among the two. Kyosho is cheaper.... 5thou sa manila hobbies yung Subaru Impreza WRC. 6 thou yung Evo VII.... decisions decisions.

djerms::: pare you can get a 2wd tamiya truck for 13thou all in including 3000mAh batt charger, remote as in lahat! check out lil's.

Pwede! Meron sa QC na kumakarera ng ganyan. Limited nga lang sa dirt and sand tracks yan pero very capable sa offroading! Mas gusto ko nga yung ganyan kasi mas realistic pag tumatakbo.

kupaloids::: ano advantage ng esc over mechanical speed control. Inutil talaga ako sa modern rc's. nung panahon ko puro mechanical speed control lang. :D meron pa ngang baterya yun na sarili, kelangan pa kabitan ng BEC. :mrgreen:

Hihihi! Longer runtime, Smoother throttle response, resistant to sand/dirt, Less maintenance, more resistance to glitch (yung electric sparks kasi nag iintefere sa radio frequency).

hahahaaa pasensya na po't late na ako nagising :lol: sige, i'll let you have a look at it if djerms decides not to get it :D

nako malaki talaga ang advantage ng ESC sa mechanical... if im not mistaken, mechanical has a higher chance of catching fire... :shock:

3000 mAh na pala batteries ngayon? hehe di ako updated sa R/C :lol: yung akin 1700 mAh SCRC lang... mga 10-12 mins run time per charge for leisure running, and about 5 mins kung all-out yung pace... i think

Naku pre di ko sure ang parts availability ng Kyosho sa atin e. Ang alam ko mas maraming parts ang Tamiya. If you're planning to buy an Tamiya EVOVII, make sure na TB-01 ang chassis, kasi yung ibang lumabas e TL-01 ang chassis which is not really intended to be used offroad. First upgrades are ball bearing, it really makes a big difference. Ako ang balak ko bibili ako ng extra LEXAN body and install it to my TL-01 para maganda! Tarmac Version nga lang. Hihihi!

Oo pre d2 ako ngayon sa Saudi, bakit mo natanong?

kupaloids::: akala ko andito ka. rc eb sana tayo hehehee :D Ok salamat ng marami pre. Nasisira na ulo ka dami ng chassis ng tamiya di ko alam kung alin ang para saan. TB01 yung Evo VII. Pero from what i read medjo pang dirt lang and not pang cross country. Maghahanap pa ako ng 2nd hand na truck hehehe :D

sa po kayo titser?

meron palang nag regalo sa anak kong RC. RadioShack ang brand. OK ba ito? Rear wheel drive lang nga, pero pag nastack yung isang gulong yung kabila lang ang iikot, ito ba yung LSD?
