Hmm a lot of Singlish (Singapore English) sounds like that - minus the tagalog, of course. hehe.

Replace "noh" with "lah".

Isn't the line "in fairness" used by Rufa Mae Quinto all the time?

I honestly cannot stand her from the words that she uses to the way she speaks and the irritating texture of her voice.

It's sad that the upper crust of our society have very bad grammar. Is this what they teach at our prep schools? Usually the educated middle class have a better grasp of both english and tagalog.

depende yan sa upbringing...

if kids are exposed to jolog-speak all the time, pano sila matututo mag english?

like if the kids watch kapamilya and kapuso tv all day for years and years, don't count on them to learn any english

but if they watch disney channel and nickelodeon all day for years and years, di lang sila matututo mag english, may american-accent pa.
