some of my college friends are distinctly conyo, though there really are rich uet they say they arent... like duh what is rich na for them, its like you know owning the whole alabang village, hahaha
for me its okay to sound and be conyotic but apply them appropriately, sometimes they arent cute anymore the border between irritatingly cute and funny crosses the line of being a biatch and nonsense talk.
Conyo: di marunong tumawid ng kalye
Conyo: di marunong mag commute
Conyo: di pa nakatikim ng street food
Conyo: How much ba gas ngayon? i don't know eh...
i have a college friend, shes's uber rich though shes down to earth and isnt conyo in the politically correct term for that, they are just rich, she doesnt know how to cross the street, she has a yaya everytime, she doesnt commute, i influence her to commute and ride a jeep from our school to our home, she doesnt eat street food so we ate kwek kwek, fishballs, squid balls, i let her eat all kinds of balls there is in the street.

The original conio boys were the spanish mestizos studying in
La Salle and Ateneo during the 60s and 70s.
Most of them were soccer players. They always ended their sentences
with the word "conio" in a thick Spanish accent.
Most had names like Inaki, Mari, Tonyo. Medyo macho ang dating pero
mababait naman once you get to know them better.
