the 2nd line I like bec. that is a lot similar to what i said if however, we are talking about short term goals.
    connection ng pagiging girl? hahaha

    50% planning + 50% risk = success

+1 ako dun sa mga sinabi ng iba na depende yan sa POV mo...I view being a successful parent/partner as my ultimate goal and want in life.

a little of both...but I believe luck plays a major role. and if you're destined to be successful in life, mangyayari talaga.

For me, its careful planning with the risk/chances at certain points, and a lot of good timing (better known as luck). However if you're talking of success that stands out, its really risk taking that will push you ahead of the others; the only thing is you mostly hear of the successful risk takers and not the many, many more who failed (at least until 20th and 21st Century money and real estate markets :D).

One example is Henry Sy took a a risk in obtaining and developing the property where SM North EDSA stands today. A lot of people were in fact, skeptical but his foresight stood and the rest is history. It was a risk but his foresight, timing and planning guided him in that decision.

Success is also relative though. Just recently, i learned that one of the people i admire when it comes to work has a family life that is apparently quite opposite.

sa kin naman, its mostly about plannng and executing based on it.

good luck is just a bonus to accelerate the success.

without luck, ok pa rin. just execute the plan.

pure luck does NOT constitute true success. tsamba lang kung sakali.

its like being given to you in a silver platter

as oppose to working towards it.
