hindi po dahil di pa sapat ang ipon kundi saan naman namin kukunin yung ganun kalaki na sweldo sa pinas? kahit sa business mahirapan kumita ng 100k/month, di pa sure kung papatok. e kung malugi e di balik abroad ulit, umpisa na naman, new hire? better the devil you know than the devil you don't know. don't jump if you are not sure where you are going to fall. don't let go of what you're holding on to with your left hand if you have nothing to hold on with your right hand....

advice?

1. sipag. don't even think of working overseas if you will hide everytime there is work to be done. working long hours is not "sipsep", it is making yourself get noticed that you are dedicated to the job. i knew people who disappeared each time there is a problem, they are the first people to get fired. I know because i just fired 1 such person last week.

2. tyaga. unless you are a genius (and therefore ask yourself why you need to work for someone else!), you will not get the position you want in 1 year, or 5 years. as long as the posibility exist and you are willing to work for it and wait then it will come.

3. continuos improvement and training. remember, if you don't have the potential to be promoted then they don't want you.

4. it is not enough to do your best if you want to succeed. excel in everything you do.

5. honesty. you can always buy your own tools to DIY on your car, but you won't be able to buy a car if you get fired for stealing a $30 screw driver set. i knew someone who was getting a monthly pay of US$7000 (american) but was fired for stealing tools (and yes, it included a set of screw drivers!)

6. integrity. nobody trusts anybody who lies, and neither does your employer.
