Hmm, the market yesterday night closed at P52.245 against the greenback.

But seriously, the issue giving me a headache already when I already had a fever and frequent stomach pains since last night.

I'll just adopt a "wait-and-see" attitude for this E-VAT thing while I get some more rest otherwise, I can't go to school the next day.

For the meantime, do we have a thread where can we discuss about the "GOOD NEWS"? (ie. Subic-Clark-Tarlac expressway would be finished in 2007, Northrail project ready to begin this September, plans to expand, rennovate and widen SLEX currently being discussed, Plans to build a super-stadium in Fort Bonfacio to be fully constructed in 2008 and all the other pieces of "GOOD NEWS")

Seriously, where can we hear the "GOOD NEWS"? As of now, I don't think we can expect the long wait of this E-VAT debate in the SC that will take about 1 (minimum) to 6 months (at max.) to be considered as "GOOD NEWS" whether for or against the E-VAT.

Is there even at least one single thread talking about "GOOD NEWS" and "PROGRESS" in this country???

I think its a wonderful idea Blackraven. Why don't you start a thread and perhaps others will follow your lead. I will do so in a proper thread as what the Mods in Tsikot adheres.

Our company right now afraid of the E-Vat syempre kailangan namin magtaas presyo.

Yup! That's why passing additional burden by the government to consumers by implementing the additional 2 points in our tax will surely make our life more miserable. However, let's look at the bright side of it. That is the only recourse we have as of the moment because of some inept government officials. Let's all have faith! There is still light at the end of the tunnel.

let's just hope that the 2% burden to all of us is well worth it down the line.

Mga bro!!! Tama kayo there is light at the end of the tunnel.

My point is kaya pa ba natin? kaya pa ba nang mga maralitang tiga lunsod...?

Boss CLAVEL3699, a lot of peeps here doesn't care about the maralitang tiga lunsod. They see and generalize them as lazy, drunkard and a menace to the society. ;)

I dont think it's healthy to emphatize or even to sympathize with their plight. sometimes, yun mga hardships & crisis sa buhay, yun
ang pangsukat kung gano ka galing as a person and as a Filipino.

Most of the middle class people came from lower class. They became middle class
the moment they stopped whining and feeling sorry for themselves.

stop this robin hood ideal that it is ok to steal from the rich & the govt. & give to the poor. Kung na-extend pa ng 30 yrs. yan nobelang na yan, sigurado susuko na si Robin Hood sa trabaho nya kasi ang mga mahihirap maghihiga na lang sa Sherwood Forest buong araw at intayin na lang ang pagbabalik ni Robin Hood & his Merry men with the loot.
