It's called LATCH (Lower Anchorages and Tethers for Children) It allows the installation of car seats without using the car seatbelts. The seat is installed via bars that are factory built in the vehicle seats. These bars are installed in all vehicles that were manufactured after September 2002 (US lang ata)
