^ Subjective kasi yung universal understanding natin mga filipino ng "formal attire". Kaya I tend to mix and match nalang ... hehe.

na experience ko na yun comming to a party in a formal attire coz the invitation says so, pero upon arriving at the event lahat naka casual

if formal talaga get a suit. a long sleeve polo and a tie isn't really formal. it's what you wear every day in the office. since debut lang naman i'm sure madami dadating jan na di naman talaga formal ang suot. if you're good at wearing clothes my suggestion is leather shoes, jeans, shirt and a blazer. kung magaling ka mag dala di ka mag mumukhang jologs. :bwahaha: pag debut di ako nag susuot ng suit madalas ganon lang jeans, shirt and blazer lang unless kasama ako sa 18 candles then mag suit ako. pero pag mga business meeting tapos mga foreigner ang ka meeting talagang no choice ako kung hindi mag suit.

A blazer is more casual... Walang padding, etc. This is what people usually wear over their everyday clothes.
Kung sa Shang and it's an evening affair then that is formal indeed.

.... if you're James Bond, what would you wear that would be appropriate for the occasion?

November 28th, 2012 07:51 PM #50if the indicated attire is formal and still in doubt, come in barong. it's the national formalwear. only time i go in suit is if it's specifically requested, or in tagaytay or baguio. malamig..
For someone having experience working with Japanese team, I am sure they already anticipated this....
