A bit unlikely that they would invade the Vatican... wala naman silang mapapala dun.

Ang medyo likely scenario is an Arab invasion of Israel. It has happened before (War of Independence, 6-Day War, Yom Kippur / Ramadan War) and can happen again. The only problem is that the IDF was able to win all of these conflicts even against a coalition of Middle East nations.

As Christians, we also need to protect Israel. yan na lang ang nagsisilbing link sa cradle ng religion natin eh. the Arabs/Muslims have already taken most parts of that area. at least with Israel, they're willing to share it with us. but with Muslims and if they have it their way by the book, hindi nila talaga i-share yan.

same as Mindanao, andami-dami na offers ng National Govt. aid, autonomy, rehabilitation, livelihood, mutual progress etc. pero up to now wala pa din katapusan ang gyera. sa filipino movies depicted as oppressed, marginalized, poverty-stricken people sila kaya sila nag-uuprising. pero siguro the truth of it, ayaw nila talaga mag-share, ayaw nila ng Kristyano sa Mindanao. gusto nila sila lang. unlike us, may mga muslim communities sa Manila, Pampanga, Baguio, Cebu etc...

Israel is not a christian nation. Those people are jews...and their religion is different from christians. way different. they couldnt care less about christians as they dont believe in jesus christ as the messiah.

yes I know naman that they are jews. If Christians want to wage war on some religious people, it should be Israel bec. they were responsible for the death/suffering of the Christ. (just like what Hitler did - A christian extremist and his less famous ally the Italians - the Vatican state's brother

But recent world events really confuse me.

* how come the mighty US of A came to the rescue of Israel when Saddam launched scud missiles on Israel during the Gulf war? (this move was a big risk on the Americans bec. they might lose some Arab nation members of the coalition)?

*how come a small country like Israel continues to portray a strong military influence in an area surrounded by enemies. (we all know naman na like Japan in Asia, matindi ang support ng US military sa Israel)

could it be that the Bushes are Jewish-Americans?

or

could it be that the Israel serves as a very important strategic place for reasons yet unknown for the common Jew and Christians alike?

could the land of Israel play an important role in our future and the future of our world? (just like the promised land of the O.T.)
