It takes a lot from the common man to understand this mutual respect and coexistence. Come to think of it, this is the minimum requirement. The modern day great saint - Theresa of Calcutta's loving works transcended religion, color or class. Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists and Christians look up to her. And she stands barely 5 feet.

I guess "respect and co-existence' are not in the vocabulary of religious and close minded fanatics.

Take for example WWII: Nazi Germany, Imperial Japan & Fascist Italy all used nationalism to motivate their citizens in waging an uncalled for war against the rest of the world. Pax America & Communist USSR almost triggered WWIII due to differences in idealism. A modern day example would be Communist North Korea defying the world.

Bottomline... any idealogy whether religious or areligious (e.g. nationalism) when practiced in extremism results in strife, conflict and wars. Categorically stating that all religion do is just that might be an example of that.
You mga gera sa Europe lately (Bosnian and Kosova wars) is a small example of how religion can turn normal everyday people into savage murderers. Neighbours killing neighbours. The frightening thing here is that most of those commiting the attrocities were Orthodox Christians (Serbs) and Catholics (Croats). Yung mga biktima are the Muslims.

Ummm... that's an ethnic war primarily caused by a civil war. Both sides used ethnic cleansing.

But still, were did all that teaching of love thy neighbour that Christianity fosters so much go? And they did it to the very people they called neighbors.

OFF TOPIC: Here's another thought. The US today is run mostly by descendants of immigrants from Europe, not by the natives. The Native Americans were driven from their land by conflicts and one-sided agreements by these white folks into these reservations. Would you call this an early example of ethnic cleansing?? Custer is lauded as a hero by the whites and a idiot by the natives...

Not all who call themselves "Christians" act like one. Being "religious" (e.g. going to church diligently, praying x times a day, etc.) is different from being "spiritual" (e.g. trying to live by the teachings of your religion, being considerate to all human beings, etc.), not all of the former acts like the latter.

Quite possibly... before the Caucasians would think of themselves as a far more superior race. Especially when they encounter ethnic / indigenous people on the land they "discovered" and later on conquered.

Though today, the USA is trying its best to correct its past mistakes... many of their coastal cities (LA, NY, Miami) are home to a very diversified ethnic population. You wouldn't see that in any part of the world.

Modern religion already espouses of mutual respect & coexistence with one another. A good example would be Saudi Arabia & UAE... a few decades ago they wouldn't even had thought of having non-Muslim soldiers being based in their countries but now permanent US bases are stading there.
Christians can harmoniously co-exist with jews, buddhists, hindus and some muslims. why some only for the Muslims?

if we take a look at this chart: Islam - Judaism - Christianity by comparison:

    http://www.religionfacts.com/islam/c...ristianity.htm

very disturbing yun 2nd Table 5th row: seems that both Islam and Christianity are guilty of "using war as tool for expanding religion".

but it is even more disturbing that there is no separation of Church and State with the Islamic religion. First Table, last row

Did Nostradamus predict the 2011 Japan earthquake?

    http://occultview.com/2011/03/11/nos...an-earthquake/

    Century: 1, Quatrain: 46
Very near Auch, Lectoure and Mirande
a great fire will fall from the sky for three nights.
    The cause will appear both stupefying and marvelous;
shortly afterwards there will be an earthquake.

The quatrain mentioned areas in southern France (Auch, Lectoure and Mirande) and a fire in the sky for 3 nights. I understood this to mean the aurora borealis would be visible in an area where it’s rarely seen, farther south. Only a huge solar flare could create an aurora borealis great enough to light up the sky like fire at that latitude.

The aurora borealis occurred the same time the earthquake hit Japan...

instead of focusing on Nostradamus, you guys should get fixated on Planet Nibiru aka Planet X aka Comet Elenin -

    Ele > Extinction Level Event
Nin > Sumerian Goddess who initiated the ancient great flood.
