Yup,- that's the trade-off. I usually have the luxury of space and weight when traveling, so I bring both most of the time....

True. I'm actually thinking of getting the DA Limited primes that Pentax has - they have a 21/3.2, 40/2.8 and 70/2.4 all in pancake size - I could probably fit all three in the space taken up by the Sigma

Some pictures to show how small they are:

(last lens is the DA 35/2.8 Macro, which is reputed as a very good lens)

And mounted on a Kx (which is one of the smaller DSLRs you can find):

taken today at 6 am, sunrise sana kami with our two lil angels pero walang araw kasi makulimlim at umambon pa.

pero nag-enjoy naman mga kids, priceless!

boss nagsusubmit ka rin ba ng weekly assignment mo dun sa digital photography school? nagregister ako dun at nagsubmit din for the first time sa abstract assignment. hahaha! at andaming magagandang pics.

Nope, hindi ko nagregister dun. Nagpupunta lang ako dun para magbasa ng tips kung paano ang ganitong type ng photography.
