I would probably give it a 2. I shot it without looking at the viewfinder and focused it by estimating the distance a.k.a. eyeball rangefinder. I pretty much hipshot it. Like I said, it's tricky to use a very conspicuous lens without drawing attention. Have to stealth shoot it
fortunately the depth of field is forgiving.Damn, son! Where'd you find this?

Last week. A boiling mass of clouds nearby. It was much more pronounced mammatus clouds earlier. But, I was still driving and not able to get in a shot until I arrived home.
Taken with my 7-yr old canon DSLR.

One thing I did a lot in the PH was visit obscure historical sites (and battlegrounds) that were within easy reach such as the Zapote Bridge.
I do the same here. The Paiute Indian who originated the Ghost Dance was named Wovoka. He lived at Yerington, Nevada. But, when he died, he was buried at the Schurz Indian reservation which is about 30 minutes away by car.
We'll probably stop by there (restroom stop) this summer, on the way to my uncle's place.
I loved passing through Schurz. Very peaceful.....

It's been a year since I last took some aircraft photos. It occurred to me that I haven't visited the local air museum. The Pima Aerospace Museum isn't too far and I have the itch to take some MiG photos.
Not mine.
