Looks like you have been to an Air Show. Is that in Luke AFB?

Yup. I've been to many airshows. But, none were at Luke AFB. The F-4EJ photo was taken at Misawa AB, Japan while the P-40 photo was taken at Fort Drum, New York.

The road sign was taken in Arizona though just southeast of Hoover Dam.

As a weatherman, one of my favorite photo subjects are cumulonimbus clouds. The bottom one was huge. It was 100 miles away on the Doppler radar. But, it was so big, it looked near.

Another road photo. Along I-80 in Nevada. Photo taken during morning twilight just before the sun peeked over the mountains.

There are countless panorama photos of the Meteor Crater in Arizona. But, I just have to add mine anyway.

To me, an asteroid (or comet) impact would be my Doomsday scenario. Unfortunately, I don't think I'd survive one.

I used my same old Canon beginner DSLR for the group of 5(?) photos and my ancient copy of Jasc Animation Shop 3 to stitch them together.

Wow, that's a nice shot! Did you go down the crater wall? Is it like normal soil or like a nuclear-bombed surface with hard glass bits?

Sadly, no. I wanted to go down the crater. But, the wife n kids were bored to hell.

To them, the place was just a bunch of rocks.

Anyway, doing more research, I think geologists found shocked quartz which is evidence of an impact crater. It's not that old. The impact was estimated to have occurred only 50,000 years ago.

One memento from NY I really cherish is my visit to NYC and St. Patrick's Cathedral. I decided to leave my mark in the visitor's log.
