lols! to be honest, i don't really find his blog offensive at all..... And i have to agree.... the rate of development of manila is really slow compared to the development in the provinces.....

Im quite dissapointed of how Manila turn out. But still nothing happens for the past 10 years.![]()
the philippines was once one of the richest countries in asia if not the richest decades ago. we had, repeat, had timber, we have gold, minerals and more importantly skilled workers. thanks to our kababayans who in one way or another, acted like pigs defecating in their own backyard and our corrupt politicians who got elected and had personal agenda while in office. to be blamed too, are the voters for not carefully selecting the best candidates. an example is the production of rice. the farmers from all over asia attended u.p. los banos to study farming. look now, they are all exporting to the philippines.
all he said was not offensive naman eh. kitid lang ng utak ng mga nag comment this and that BS.
i don't have hopes about manila or even the phil being at Par with other asian countries.
just driving through Maynila this whole day, maiinis ka nalang bigla sa mga tao.
Another wake up call that many will chastize or ignore. Reality sucks.
Question now, what are we going to do about it? Seems like the problems he mentioned we know of for years and nothing has been done.
We need action. Continuous action.

Napa-isip tuloy ako kung ano ang impression ng Brit boss ko (who was re-assigned to HK) on his five-year expatriation here in Manila?
Tinanong ko lang siya once: "Do you drive here?" ... sabi niya "Nah, no plans."
Actually nobody likes such "interferences"...
Makes me remember when an American journalist said Brazilian former president Lula da Silva is an uneducated Marxist drunk and almost got expelled from Brazil. This is quite a 3rd-world syndrome, there will always be a corrupt politician telling lies and saying he's "fighting the imperialism" in a way too similar to the Hitler's national-socialism...
These "student councils" are taken over by left-wingers pretending to be "revolutionary", so instead of studying their heads are turned to the "misery industry"...
Actually kung medyo matagal ka nang nagtatrabaho o nag nenegosyo, mawawala yung idealism eh, nung fresh grad ako ang iniisip ko nun i will make a difference in this world. Pero after numerous experiences with the govt and govt. people and fellow citizens na iilan lang ang nag she share ng same idealism, in the end parang just do my share in a small way nalang, pay my taxes, follow the law, teach my kids the proper way..Hanggang dun nalang talaga eh.
