Suppose there is god's heaven, and bible describe heaven as perfect, there's complete happiness. why still did Satan or Lucifer got envious of god? It means he's not satisfied in heaven, he want more! So if there's life after death and if you enter heaven, you might as well get bored! Then Lucifer might aswell contact you, and tell you to recruit other people there, and there might as well be a coup to topple god possible d ba?

what is it that God always wants us Christians to do?

    sacrifice, give up something

now that is opposite of free will. If free will is in effect, we will never sacrifice. and Satan dont want us to sacrifice, he wants us to take to submit to temptations bec. we're free.
    Actually, sir, it's not sacrifice.

Learn from Jesus' example: to do what's right.

When Jesus messed up the temple vendors, that wasn't sacrifice. That was an out and out felony (according to the laws of the time). I think it actually felt pretty good, if I were Him. I'm pretty sure that felony was a good thing, though. Selling stuff outside the church is ok pa. Inside? Tsk tsk.

Jesus also kept some pretty good company: armed bodyguards, smart, pretty ladies, tax collectors, etc.

His sacrifice was more a means rather than an end. It was meant to show that what is good is worth dying for.

    It's called pride sir.

    For example:

Tsikot is a great community, nothing much wrong with it. But, a certain AS20 is just too full of himself to get off his high horse.

There's still nothing much wrong with tsikot, but AS20 is now banned...

As always, it's not heaven that's the problem... it's the person. That's why we are exhorted to be good now... to find, learn and earn the wisdom that allows us to stay in Heaven, which to me is a state of tranquility.

After all, what is it that causes us stress? Hindi ba the mga 'What ifs?' of life?

Siguro si Lucifer was thinking: "I'm too pretty to be wearing just white, day in and day out, what if... "

Mind you, this is just my opinion.

if God wants Christians to sacrifice, its a positive command but it doesn't negate free will because 1 can choose to obey it or not.

First of All God Bless you all,

I will just quote a passage from the bible which I believe the very existance of it.

    John 20: 30-31
"Jesus did many other miraculous signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not recorded in this book. 31But these are written that you may[a] believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name."

so I believe kung ito ay nangyari sa inyo natupad ang purpose the bible sa buhay nyo.

ito lang po ang aking pananaw.

    salamat sa lahat.

what we have is an illusion of choice. a lot of people dont recognize it yet. but if we will look at the bigger picture, we all end up oldies in time. and no amount of wealth or intelligence, that are generated from freewill, can change this. even the rich and the powerful are not exempt of this.

we are all destined to die. if freewill really empowers us humans more than God, then we would have all chosen to live forever .... or longer.

    B - Basic
    I - Instructions
    B - Before
    L - Leaving
    E - Earth

Know where you are and know where you are going. That's how you will get where you want to be. If you don't know or don't care, you'll probably end up in somewhere worse than limbo. Our physical bodies are like our cars, we need to know the basic instructions before we can use it to to our destination. We can find the instruction as well as the map in the BIBLE. Of course, we are to understand it with the help of the Holy Spirit, our navigator. He knows the way (the truth and life). But as the driver you have your free will, you have the choice between life and death. God said choose life and he gave us the Bible for our guidance and the Holy Spirity to teach us how to understand the Bible properly. You can always choose death or choose not to follow the Bible or ignore the guidance of the Holy Spirit. And if you think the Bible is sometimes wrong, would you have the confidence to entrust your life to it.

KAL 007 was shot down in 1983 after flying within Soviet airspace, so for some people, in and out could mean life and death. If something could be so consequential in real life, it's bound to seep into faith and belief. Territory has always been a major issue in both secular and spiritual terms.
