Before: I manhandle a 30" Trinitron aperture- grille CRT TV upstairs and hope I don't get a hernia.
Now: I lug a 32" LCD TV like a book under my arm.

back in the 90s, i could overflow my gas tank with 300 bucks.
in the 90s, i settled for a 25 inch flatscreen crt, because the 28 incher weighed over 140 pounds. today, my cousin wants to give me his old 42 inch led, but i declined... "hindi kasya sa present location (where my 25 incher still reigns supreme), at baka mabuwal ng hangin.."
back in the late 80s, we would take joyrides in the lrt during lunch breaks.. sakay kami hanggang pasay rotonda and back.. all in under 1 hour.. ilan lang kami sa bagon..
back in the 70s, my daily allowance was 4 bucks. pamasahe and food. lakad pa ako nang 20 minutes, to save 5 centavos.
