sa mga madalas matapilok diyan at marunong at alam kung pano gagawin sa natapilok. hehehe
kanina kasing umaga nung nag basketball kami natapilok ako. bumagsak ako sa paa nung isang player.wala naman atang bali. pansin ko lang kanina sobra niya sakit pagkagising ko kasi natulog ako pagkauwi. naka-aircon ako non kasi ang init. hindi kaya sa lamig kaya sumakit maigi ung paa ko? pero nung dinadampian ko na ng ice bag na may lamang mainit na tubig, unti-unting nawala ung sakit.
ngayon ang ginagawa ko pinapagulong ko lang ung paa ko sa bote saka dinadampian ng ice bag na may mainit na tubig. tama ba ung ginagawa ko? para ano tamang gawin para mabilis gumaling?

sabi sakin ganun din..pero ginagawa ko yun pag napahinga ko na siya and NOT right after the injury...give it time to rest..tapos pag recovery na, chaka ko lang ginagawa yung rolling bottle ek ek choovalooness!

May 21st, 2005 11:57 PM #6ouch! ang sakit niyan naranasan ko na yan while doing the karate kid kick. sa bote ng coke pinagulong nung manghihilot yung paa ko. hehehe!

tama! ang sakit nga. buti nga hindi pa namamaga e. mukhang talagang ung bote technique ang ginagawa ng lahat. hehehe

May 22nd, 2005 12:45 AM #8ako madalas ma-sprain ankle ko. once I sprained my ankle 3x in a span of 1 year. last month i na-sprain na nman ako. helluva pain talaga right after you hear something poppin' in your ankle...
well this is what i usually do. i usually apply cold compression in the injured ankle to put down the swelling right after i twisted my ankle..AFAIK you are not suppose to put hot compression immediately coz hot temp. creates more blood circulation in the injured ankle thus promotes swelling...give it plenty of rest and put bandages on it...
btw, it really does hurt after you wake up the following day especially when you get out of bed coz once you begin to sit or stand up, gravity takes the blood in to your ankle & veins will start to expand thus the experience of pain in the injured ankle.. the bottle technique does work for me but i usually do it the day after the injury.
i'm no doctor but this is how i do based on countless experience of twisting my ankle....

cold compress is used immediately after the injury, to contain the swelling.
then hot compress pag after ilang hours na. ginagawa ko rin yang bote. masakit, pero ok lang, nakakatulong naman e.
minamasahe ko rin pala with bengay, then wrap with elastic bandage, parang hot compress na rin with support from the bandage.
medyo bawas sa paglakad, and lagi nakataas yung paa na injured
Ongoing problem pa din Pala ito even among euro cars ...
