Guys, don't use mcafee or bandwidthplace coz these are not reliable throughput speeds.
I suggest you guys visit www.dslreports.com and check out their tweaking page and try the speedtest there. It gives you recommendations pa on what to tweak and try on your system
Btw, to those who are using DSL 256 and have been upgraded to DSL 512, be sure to adjust your RWIN to 20,328 to achieve best results. Use Dr.TCP available at the tweak section.
