    Exactly. I don't think the shooter was able to control himself. There was no legitimate threat to his life and yet he acted by killing two people.

    I think both got out of control but the gun owner was not responsible enough to own his firearm. Buti sana kung bumaba siya't tinutukan lang for Canizares to get back into his car and drive off. But he actually shot him, and his female companion. Warning or not I don't think that was the right thing to do.

    walang dapat i-blame kungdi mga jeepney driver kasi sila may kasalanan dyan. habang panahon impyerno dumaan from Kapitolyo to Shaw Flyover. kung tuusin one or two stoplights lang naman tapos maluwag na sa flyover pero badtrip talaga mga jeep dyan

    from kapitolyo to shaw floyver (less than 2km) will take you 20-30 mins tops any time of day

    =====

    most of the road rage here in the metro eh talaga ma-i-blame mo sa kanila

    sana kahit may natraffic man lang sana yung isa sa kanila ng 5 seconds sa pinanggalingan nila eh baka hindi pa nangyari yon..

    at least halos lahat na tayo mag iingat na sa daan. We should be now be better at handling our emotions...

    The suspect should've known better. He can't claim self defense. He should be locked up and given hard labor for the next 20 years.

    My personal opinion on this one, the guy on the cefiro got what he deserve.

    Pero hindi na dapat idinamay yung babae.

    I agree with you na sana hindi na lang dinamay yung babae. Tutal hindi naman nakatulong sa bumaril yung pagpatay nya sa babae that might serve as witness e, e ang daming nakakita sa kanya.

    Sana binangga na lang nung bumaril yung cefiro, at least pera pera na lang usapan. Amanos pa sha sa pagkakasipa ng oto nya.

    Anger and hatred clouds one's judgement.

    RIP to the 2 souls.

    dumaan ka kasi dun para malaman mo. i travel that road 2-3 times a week. alam ko na nga pasikot-sikot kung san pinaka-da best way makalabas diyan.

    subukan mo lang isang araw tapos dagdagan mo ng ulan, tignan ko lang kung hindi mo maisipan i-bazooka yun mga jeepney. lalo na yun mga nag-hanging sa tapat ng Lourdes School, one san miguel bldg. and also that corner before the ground zero incident

    from the postion of the cefiro in the TV news, malamang papasok siya sa San Antonio, kaya lang yun kasi mga galing Ortigas nag-shortcut dun sa gilid ng tektite to CRC to yun astoria tas kaliwa sila then exit will be that entrance to San Antonio, usually nga mga eto dumadaan dito paluwas ng pioneer. madami na din kasi nakakaalam ng ruta add to that hirap makalabas sa San Antonio dahil sa mga hanging jeepneys sa opposite corner of that exit.

    so pile-up talaga on the village exit, the lawyer counterflowed, papasok naman si cefiro.

    and basing from experience, it became worse bec. nawala malamang ang MMDA na nagbabantay dahil nga maulan. chaos yan and I believe nauna lang sila dalawa mag-road rage. malamang karamihan ng ipit dyan, bordering road rage na din.

    ====

    i can't blame the two. victim lang talaga sila sa impyernong daan na yan. MMDA should close all traffic intersection stoplights in Shaw starting from Crossing until the circle sa Kapitolyo.

    but they can't why? bec. the jeepneys want a route from Kapitolyo Shaw to EDSA Crossing. and usually, they turn either on Pioneer kung saan nangyari ang incident or the next stoplight.

    the jeepneys can u- turn naman under the flyover eh, in front of Shangrila, then EDSA Crossing. ewan ko ba kumbakit hindi na lang nila gawin yun.

    ====

    this was done before eh nun bago-bago pa U-turn scheme ni Bayani mga 2-3 years ago. travel time from Kapitolyo to the flyover was reduced to nil. as in smooth flowing talaga. ewan ko ba bakit inalis yun ... siguro nagreklamo na naman

    Based on the news gathered it is very premature to draw his gun and pull the trigger, no unlawful aggression and reasonable necessity to repel and prevent the bad mouthing of Canizares. There is no showing that Canizares is holding any deadly weapon. Maybe even tutukan lang will do no good "mahabla ka pa grave threat". I suggest keep your arms and use it responsibly, draw and fire it "only" in extreme conditions.

    You're right, exposing the firearm is already a threat in itself. Maybe a verbal warning would have been better on the shooter's behalf to ward off Canizares and prevent any more confrontation.

    I think here in the US there's a law that states that the ammunition of your firearm should be separate and difficult to access from the weapon. So the ammo stays in either trunk or cabin, with the gun concealed in the other compartment. It should be the same there. But then again enforcement is another matter.

    Both sides ruined their lives.

    it reminds me of an incident that happened long long ago at the intersection between marcos highway and sumulong. may isang trak na napakayabang talaga sa daan. kung magmaneho parang ahas na paliko-liko eh sa pag pihil nyang pakanan papuntang sumulong may mabagal na mazda 323 na box type na berde sa unahan nya, so ginawa nung drayber at pahinante ng truck eh pinag mumura at nag sign pa ng dirty finger dun sa mazda 323 at dahil sa trapik din papuntang sumulong kc ginagawa yung daan that time di inaasahan ng mga mokong na yun na puro naka unipormeng pulis nasa loob ng mazda 323 na pinag mumura nilang dalawa. ayun, naglabasan ng mga armalite at 9mm yung mga pulis kaya pinababa clang dalawa at pinag sasampal. parang nabahag mga buntot ng mga demonyo. he he he. tawa kami ng tawa ng misis ko nun kahit papano na aliw kami sa trapik.

    meron talaga yatang may baril but not educated how to handle it lalo na kung hindi licensed.

    dati mintik na rin ako sa ganitong sitwasyon pero yun naghahamon sa akin, hindi naman bumababa ng kotse nya. ipinapakita nya lang yung hawak nyang steer whell locks pero wala naman nangyari masama & thnk god for that.

    ingat na lang lagi...pero kung hindi nagiingat yung iba at kung naghahanap talga ng kadamay,,,paano natin haharapin iyon??? gaya nung babae na aawat, tinuluyan din..

[merged] ingat sa gitgitan at makipagduruan sa kalye.
