This is a good explanation. I didn't know that JP Morgan is 1st avenue. I buy Tapa King there hahaha! Kaya alam ko lang 32nd st and 5th ave because of the corner building with that name and Rizal dr, well because it's not a number so I work from there to know a street name pero mas madali nga knowing JP morgan is 1st avenue and Serendra is 11th Ave. Yung large road where the Fort and Mendokoro is I always get confused kung 28th or 26th ba haha

LOL! Numbers din pala sa Caloocan.

I also use Buendia and Reposo Mom ko tawag sa Roxas - Dewey Blvd LOL

coming from pasay city, the houses were on the right side.
there was not much on the left side of the road except tall grass and short grass.

that area between pasay road and where makati cinema square et al are now, used to be grassland.
the grass that grew there is a special type.
    it's the type horses like.
you could see several horses grazing there, back in the day.
Wow, horses in Makati? Growing up kasi in the 80s concrete jungle na Makati, but when my parents family moved to Makati in the 60s, inabutan pa ata nila some areas swamp land I think 60s nag start i develop Makati kasi that's when people started moving in I guess hahaha

The Philippines doesn't always revolve around true QC.

That's why I stopped parking na at the basement connected to Landmark when I experienced waiting over 1 hr for parking (on a Sunday) Sinumpa ko na yan so I just park at Greenbelt 3 where it's always maluwag and walk from there.

Interesting! I learn a lot from you. I never noticed the Paris like layout (used to go there a lot in the 90s on nights out)

Weren't you the one who told me din that Manila Pen isn't Locsin (all my life that was what I knew!) hahaha! It's my favorite hotel

SAME. I avoid crowded malls like the plague that's why I prefer Greenbelt and High Street - open air din and lots of green. Rockwell favorite ng mga seniors for some reason.

I like names better like in San lo it's after Filipino artists, much easier to remember at ang pinaka common sa Pilipinas na street names - trees or flowers

There is only half radial in BGC which is the Rizal drive that runs from Trion Towers to st. Lukes. The small curves are lanes like the one in MC Homes/starbucks drive thru and of course the rotundas.

5th avenue and 32nd street are major thoroughfares being entry points from Makati/C5/Buendia. So iwasan mo yan during rush hours.

26th is where Mendokoro is and EQs condo unit at TGP Ayala Prime is located, next to the Jordan flagship store.

If i remember correctly the last house in Pasay road/Arnaiz Ave was sold almost more than 10 years ago. Mayrun dun isang house na hold out in the stretch near Don Bosco Church which was the last one to be converted into a commercial place.

You can spot the age of some people by the names they use for the streets ,
Like Pasay road before is now called Arnaiz Ave. , Buendia is called Gil Puyat.
Kainis having to change the names that you already are used to especially when trying to give directions to young people.

    Chino Roces = Pasong Tamo.
    Roxas Blvd = Dewey Blvd.

Clubbing = Disco or even older... Dance Hall
Band = Combo (super ancient Lolo term) Sa atin this is a multiple hit keypress sa mga gaming consoles

Pre pandemic madaming tao sa lahat ng malls during weekends. Ang hirap ng parking kahit anong mall.
