actually, nangyari rin sa akin yung ganyan, but on a lesser damage scale.

it was about 2001, gamit ko yung lancer (pizza) namin, i was turning right from visayas ave to tandang sora around 11am, dinaan naman ng truck going tandang sora (going to commonwealth direction) sa laki, long gash and dent on the left front fender and door, basag side mirror. good thing hindi malalim, the truck wasn't going that fast yet.

nakipag-areglo naman agad, which was surprising...

why?

expired na pala for 2 years yung license ng driver! the license he had was a xerox of his last valid license. too bad yung may-ari ng truck turns out had connections, so we couldn't nail that SOB.

Ewan ko nga ba kung bakit yang mga driver na ganyan ay hindi nabibigyan ng lesson ng LTO. Dapat sa mga driver na ganyan, bigyan muna ng psychiatric test bago i-renew yun license.

Yes, they were aware. They were the first on the scene to help me get out. They were grateful. So grateful that they almost killed the driver for me.

In fairness to the owner of the truck, mabait naman na kausap. Hindi ako tinakbuhan. He stayed on the scene. Hinatid ako sa bahay. Nga lang, lulusot yun talaga kung makakalusot or gagawa ng paraan na mas pabor sa kanya. I'd be damned if I would let tha happen. Sa husgado na lang kami mag-kita.

Yep. Dapat siguro mag-impose sila ng truck ban 'dun. Ang dami ng naaksidenta on that stretch of road because of reckless truck drivers. Minsan, may sinuro na bahay near the old railway. The front of the house got totalled big time.
