Minsan na-assign ako sa labas ng Pinas, madalas tawag ng mga tao sa akin, "Abu Sayyaf!". Masakit, pero ngumingiti na lang ako, kibit balikat. Di ko na lang pinapansin.![]()
Hehe. Well thanks for what you guys have said. Actually, a lot of it is true.. I know there's good and bad everywhere, and you can't do anything about it. I know that you shouldn't take everything so seriously..
I think I just wanted to know that there were other people here who didn't think that way. =) Oh, but I also know that I shouldn't care so much what other people think.. :D
yup, that's a very good attitude to adopt. and the best of all dont judge others. everybody hates a righteous person -> a person who perceives he is on the side of good and others bad or a person who thinks he's a saviour of some sort.
that is my perception of a bad person.
Really, I don't have any biases against Indians...
...but I WILL complain about their driving habits. It's an observation shared by many: good driving habits on India's roads seem to be nonexistent, even compared to shoddy Pinoy standards.
Apologies if that comment was scathing in any way. That's just about the only thing I posted that's remotely offensive to Indians.
Hmmm... you're contradicting yourself again.
You tell someone not to "judge others" but in the same statement you are insinuating that self-righteous people are bad (and by your definition, you are also a self-righteous person).

i think everyone can be a bit racist at times. it depends on our background and what we've been exposed to...
I've always had the impression that Indians are good number crunchers and analysts, which is probably why they make great engineers and IT specialists.
My HS crush in RP was a tall, slender, long-legged, very dark, and gorgeous girl with Hindu blood. Tsk Tsk. D*mn. If only I wasn't scared to death of her 8(?) brothers.![]()

Question: Is there such a thing a someone who is a "bit" of a racist?
Isn't it either you are or not?
Just a question so I hope you don't mind but how many degrees of racism is allowed before it becomes intolerable? For example, if a "bit" of racism is okay how is a "bit" defined?
Shalooney: Yes, it's very annoying as there are a lot of bigotry going on and a lot of narrow-minded racists around, rest assured that Tsikot doesn't allow such things to proliferate so if you do see racially offensive statements in our boards (regardless of what race is affected) feel free to click the report post button and we'll take care of it.
go learn a martial art...or punch a bag na lang...or even kick your annoying neighbor's car.![]()
sometimes people are not aware that they are also being racist. like what happened when i stayed in HK for a month. I went on shopping one saturday only to my surprise to hear one Chinese saleslady was asking a Filipina out of their store because she was a DH. FYI, I also have chinese blood but I dont agree on how they treat Filipinas in HK.
Shalooney - racist people are everywhere. but see, I think people here naman are matured enough but that doesn't mean they all have the same opinions and ideas about one thing. since this is a public forum, what I can advise you is that, just try to understand that everyone have their own perspective on one thing. and maybe try to learn not to take seriously whatever they say. Just air your side but respect their ideas too.
Just like me before in other forums i hate it when they refer to tsinoy like me as intsik beho, i wanted to crash their faces but i realized, they are not worth it at all. besides, they are just from cyberworld and they dont know me personally.![]()
So just smile and enjoy posting from forums but learn how to take criticisms too.
