We're still looking for algaecides kasi ayoko na bumalik sa pinagbilhan namin ng chlorine... sobrang tagal ako pinaghintay dahil they usually cater to big companies and it was like they didn't know how to sell their chlorine granules for personal use. Nahiya na ko bumalik, hehehe...

Now we're looking at Intex pool filters. They're being pulled out of SM department stores, as one salesman told me... so the problem is, where can we get the filters for the pump if they stop selling them?

I'm thinking of just getting the Arowana Pumps they sell at ACE hardware worth P2,200 then connect it to the blue canisters worth P700 where you put different types of filters. Then from the filter the water would be returned to the pool, thus removing some particulate matter and most of the algae.

My problem is, will the pump (which can siphon 40 LPM) give enough push for the water to be filtered effectively? Baka kasi sobrang bagal...

Second problem is, I'm very hesitant in immersing any electrical appliance inside a body of water... what if the seals get busted tapos the wiring would get in contact with the water?

Any other ideas?
