Here we go again I'm sleepy.
I think I should quit carbs for lunch but then again I might end up having ulcer since I only eat an apple for breakfast plus coffee when I am sleepy. If I take fruits or veggies only for lunch, I'd be too weak for the rest of the day. *sigh*

your weight loss strategy is all wrong
ayaw mo kasi mag protein kaya feeling weak ka
you starve yourself in the AM, then you eat carbs for lunch
so you get an insulin spike after your carb meal (which makes you sleepy)
insulin causes fat storage
Insulin is a pancreatic hormone best known for its effects on glucose metabolism and its ability to lower blood sugar. But equally important are insulin effects on fat or lipid metabolism. It promotes fat synthesis and fat storage, while insulin deficiency increases fat metabolism.
low carb, low insulin, less fat storage, more fat burning
protein keeps you from feeling weak
know how Brad Pitt got in shape for Troy?
INTERVIEW: Brad Pitt on "Troy"
http://www.cinecon.com/news.php?id=0405101
Q: You’re all buffed up in the movie. How hard was it getting in shape?
BRAD: It’s amazing what an impending midlife crisis will do for you, really. It got me motivated. I just turned 40 in December.
Q: Can you talk about your training regimen?
BRAD: It sucked. It was brutal. I started out about six months ahead, going in. I got a guy who knew what he was talking about. It was four meals a day of protein and low-carb. It was quitting smoking. And it was two, three hours in the gym, getting to a point of absolute discomfort. After three months I finally started to enjoy it. And on top of that we have sword lessons.

I should have an all meat lunch then? Will try that tomorrow and see how it works.
I feel guilty kasi when I eat pork and beef. Also, will it make my sweat smelly? Not that I sweat a lot. lol.

Don't skimp on breakfast... if anything, have a bigger breakfast. Then go light on lunch, then snack, then go lightest on dinner.
My best diet was chicken/fish and greens. When I had pasta, just a handful (around 100g dry per meal). Felt hungry all the time, but offset this by having crackers to snack on for energy (carbs... about 30-100 calories per three piece pack)... just had to space them out properly to avoid oversnacking.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
