i remember reading or watching ( nat geo ata) somewhere that when india exterminated a huge number of feline furries in their neighborhoods a few years back, the mice and rat population increased exponentially so much so that rodent infestation and the diseases it borught w/ them became a huge ass problem. so i guess we all have to be wary of the law of unintended consequences coming into play here
