Sorry that you have to go through this crisis I guess you have to make sacrifices and sell some of your possessions to get thru. Mababawi mo rin naman pag nag normalize na situation.

Thanks Shadow. Worse comes to worst nasa isip ko na rin yan. I hope my newly put up logistics business will replace my losses.

I can’t believe this thread is still alive! I have been a member here since 2008. although i dont think i have participated in this thread while back, i always noticed that it was active. I was more active in the shoutbox of tsikot back then, with ms Cathy here! I dunno if you could remember me though [emoji28]

Anyway, btt: hmmm. I feel kind of betrayed right now. I think it’s not so much big of a deal though. But it’s a long story haha! I can’t seem to find how to go about explaining this one now but maybe i can put words to my woes later. (This is about both work and personal, “clashing” i think, as one of the more indirect effects of the COVID lockdown).

Online selling is a good idea. Kung si SM nga pinatuan pati 20 pesos na turon, tayo pa kaya? Point is, no shame in making an honest living. Anything to pay the bills as long as wala tayong inaapakang ibang tao.

This too shall pass. It can't rain forever.

    Hang in there! [emoji16]

Somewhat excited, I asked crush to review my CV and tell me what he thinks! hahaha! Told him, pulahan/proofread niya as much as he wants. It's such a turn on that he is so strict and serious at work but I can joke around with him. So now I wonder, what can a person at his level say about my CV!

Ask him if he will hire you for a position in his company. If he won’t answer straight up as a friend, most likely he ain’t going to put you up for a post.

Senior executives I know reach out to people they know who can do the job for an open post within their organization. It’s common for senior executives to tag along competent people from their previous companies to join them in their new companies.

Yeah he told me about that nga. I can't work in his company though because his industry is too far off from mine and I'm a specialist pa. Also, strict sa company nila, hindi ako tatagal Okay na rin na totally different industries kami. It's enough that he reviews my CV.

My current boss lets me get away with murder that's why my friends are saying that I will have a very very hard time adjusting to a new job. Dunno nga kung mag corporate pa ko, bahala na. Pero iba pa rin may corporate job talaga [emoji4] I'm still confused if I'll leave because my boss is convincing me to stay talaga
