and yes,
there's less than 120,000 doctors in the philippines, from the start of the profession.
a big number of them have already passed away, so the sphere of recognition is not that big, as to favor anonymity.
it's really an elite club. more elite if one practices in metro manila.
and more so, if one further limits them to those who practice in established establishments.
we see each other, when we attend our children's social or school activities.
just last... three major hospital directors in one affair.. friendlying up with colleagues..
but i confess, halos wala akong maraming kakilalang higit na mas bata sakin.
I wouldn't agree with the elite club My dad's family is picky with doctors. Just like lawyers hindi lahat magaling. So just because a person has a medical degree, doesn't mean he or she gets my respect automatically. I look at the reputation, education and values. May mga doctor din na opposite of elite, ewan ko how they got their degree
