For my wife, it was difficult. Her parents aren't doctors so she had no name or patients to inherit. She was struggling at first trying to get different clinics, waiting for walk ins. I also supported her at first, paying for the rents of the clinics, hospital shares, etc since wala pa siyamg masyadong patients. I even suggested I help her out to look for potential patients, by going to the different nightclubs, spas in Q.Ave since she's an OB. Well ofcourse she said no hehe. So now she has a steady & continous influx of patients naman. Maybe when she reaches senior citizen age, she can demand a high PF na like the doctors of Cathy hehe.

Very Worried, my youngest son has a fever last Sunday but Monday wala na, he has rashes since Monday pa and I ask them last Monday to see a doctor and have his platelets checked, as of this morning 135 na lang from 195 nung Monday, sabi ng doctor hopefully viral lang but wala naman naramdaman anak ko and he even went to school pa, as advised by his doctor this morning, this evening punta sila ng ER to have his platelets checked again, going sila ng ER now for another test, hopefully it gets better.

Sir Vinrem, sabi sa news oks po yung tawa-tawa na plant. May component sya na nakakapag increase ng platelets count.. (kaso not sure about allergic reaction sa tao kaya I won't recommend to take it immediately) better consult pa din po sa Doctor..

Eto yung source..

Have monitored dengue a few times w/o admission. Once on myself. Hydration, monitoring & prayers, lots of it, are key.[emoji120]
I had to test my count twice daily. Once in the morning, another 12hrs after. Lowest I had was 20k. Doubled down on food & fluids, quadrupled prayers. The following test showed an instant spike.[emoji3516][emoji120]
Lab visits were definitely better than confinement.
Prayers up for your kid, vinrem sir. Hope it's nothing.[emoji120]

Tawa-tawa tea was helpful on two of my relatives who had dengue -- one this year, one last year. No personal experience, just what I heard from them, so take it for what it's worth, sir. Here is an article / posting from the internet. Hope it helps, good luck.

"Results showed that laboratory mice treated with the decoction of “tawa-tawa” had an increase in platelet count, reduced bleeding time and decreased blood clotting time. Based on the results, researchers concluded that administering tawa-tawa decoction to animal models help improve their healing mechanism."

This is true Doc, my niece is a doctor, but instead of opening a clinic or working on a private hospital, she choose to go to Barrios and work in a small government hospital and help the needy, does that mean she's not good or smart? Nope, matalino pamangkin ko, laging nasa honor roll siya since elementary until she graduated sa medical school, kaya it really depends on each person's priority in life.
