dr.d is right with this. Just be happy that hindi ikaw ang umaasa Ma'am Cathy. Wala silang masasabi sayo. You also have to take the plunge if you want to improve your financial status. Life is also about sacrifices...

Na-pass on yun , check the biological science conhronicles, it's there
Then how do you explain those children that had been born with old parents that have autism? We'll i'd rather be lucky than intelligent. And I agree with what you said about intelligence though [emoji4]

OB, you really brighten up my mood. Tanggal boredom ko :bwahaha:

I still pray I get to meet someone who could measure up to my Dad. Sabi Mom ko wala na daw ako mahahanap. Hehe.

I am not an ambitious person naman but I do want to earn enough to maintain my lifestyle and have savings. I also want to have the financial capacity to help other people. It honestly makes me feel good when I can be generous. And I can't always do that

Galing mo talaga OB. Either your parents were a lot older when you were conceived or you have a bit of autism (the good side ha) in you.

You have angst, anger, desire, restlessness and ambition. That should be more than enough fuel for you to get out of your comfort zone and try something new. The only limits you have are the limits you consciously place on yourself. Now all you need is the guts to harness that combustible mixture inside of you. Time and opportunity wait for no one.

You're only a failure if your measuring stick is calibrated towards the financial yardstick. And believe me thats a hole that has no bottom.

What i am about to say is tough love but best if i said it anyway. Its been said many times here ----- but you have to grab your opportunity by the horns and damn the torpedoes. Your fear of the unknown, your over reliance on your comfort zone, your unending desire to please others at the expense of yourself, and your extreme but misguided clinginess to your family is something that you and only you can overcome. These are the proverbial ball and chains that you consciously (note that i didnt say unconsciously) shackle yourself with. Break those chains. Then and only then can you really give yourself a chance.

This is also my fear. My Mom was in her late 30s when she had me. Kaya my friends tease me that could be the reason why I am autistic

My cousin had a rich long time gf that my Lola was so against. Mamaliitin lang daw family namin. She was so happy when they broke up. Ideally the family should have a little more money and not so much more or so much less. It's no wonder almost all of her apos are annulled or hiwalay. She is offering to pay anulment of my other cousin whose wife she despises. She is such a character :bwahaha:

Thanks EQAddict. I appreciate your giving me motivation.

When I was in high school my Dad told me about how he really enjoyed the new SUV of his friend. I told myself when I get a job I will surprise my Dad the same SUV with a big ribbon - never happened :bwahaha: I am glad you are able to do it for your parents (minus the ribbon ) That's what I call success.
