Maybe time to start looking elsewhere.
Give it time. Im in a similar situation; been performing above par consistently since i started working and for last year i got my worst evaluation ever and it was very very morale lowering. I know i can get a good offer elsewhere right now but with that low rating and sub par performance last year, i will never be able to leave a company and the people i work with that way and face myself in the mirror in the morning. I know i have to deliver and prove that im up for the job, or at least give my best to level up, before i do any career changing decisions.

Keep your options open but take the experience as a opportunity to step back, evaluate and regroup yourself. If you plan to leave, lay the groundwork so as you leave the company on a good note and don't burn any bridges. I did that with my previous (and first) job and to date, i know they still have the door open for me if i want to return.

Did you get promoted? Did you receive a salary increase?

Did someone smile and say hi? Was it a good morning?

Did you get a good night's rest? Are you at peace with yourself?

I am happy for those who are happy with/in their lives....

bro what a great quote from john lennon. but it's just too damn difficult to be happy all the time or even most of the time. that life is. maybe, i can only surmise, that is why people indulge in drugs to escape life.

Affected and queasy for while. Saw a really terrible accident on NLEX earlier and the only thing discernable to the crumpled and torn vehicle was one tire hanging up (gun metal grey rims of a current model Hilux or Fort). Was definitely a high speed incident based on what was left of the vehicle and I can only hope the passengers somehow survived.

Buti nalang the wife and kids were asleep.

Sad to say but that feeling will linger on everytime you drive on the highway. I still remember the time I saw a really horrible van accident, with mangled dead bodies laying on the road. And that was like 3 years ago, and I remember it like it was yesterday. Feeling terrified again.

    Keep safe everyone.

I still feel sleepy after taking a nap on this lazy Saturday afternoon. Enjoying every moment watching over our youngest kid, who is still sleeping.

That happens to me on a section of Tagaytay-Santa Rosa road. Many years ago I was one of the first on scene to an accident involving a PNPA armored carrier that overshot the road and plowed through three vehicles. Adrenaline and helping the injured helped me get by the gore. What was frustrating was there were people pinned under their car and there was no ambulance that arrived after waiting and waiting so we were eventually forced to pull the roof open and move the unresponsive driver who was losing blood, even if all logic dictates to keep them immobile until professionals arrive.

One incentive to remember to drive defensively always, especially on provincial roads, as when there's an incident professional help is not immediately accessible in a lot of cases.
