July 29th, 2022 12:05 PM #451Yes. Double checking the engineering plans with a 3rd party. But overall should be relatively straightforward.
After ghost Month i want to do the work already.

Paging travahnas can you explain this. Why is the civilizational wisdom of ancestral homes is earthquare proof vs the current ?????
Parang covid din = its the civilization wisdom ang effective.
Antayin ko ipost sa youtube ipost ko dito yung video ng interview.
EDIT : ito na fast forward 1:00:11

Curious lang, what steel reinforcements does the plan call for, for that big an overhang? Nakakatakot, baka mabali kapag may earthquake

July 30th, 2022 01:45 PM #455Good question. Am not an engineer though cantelevers are common and not much of an engineering problems nowadays. Just good and verified math hehe.
Let me ask.

Design limits(key word) will be dictated by load, deflection, seismic & safety criteria. A properly thought out reinforced concrete overhang should be no weaker than say an equivalently loaded simply-supported beam.

Makes sense, but still curious, will the usual rebars or steel beams be used? Or are there specially fabricated steel "skeletons" or concrete mixes, for these far reaching overhangs? Or does the roof overhang provide additional support. Sorry didn't do well in my physics class. [emoji16]

Many variables & ways. Commercial rebars come in varied yield strengths(G40*40kpsi/G60*60kpsi), sizes & lengths. Concrete strength is in direct proprtion to cement factor(weight or bags) in a given volume, usually in m³...& there are additives that tweak specific characteristics. These are for your regular reinforced concrete.
Alternative ways for reinforced concrete to achieve longer spans, slimmer sections & limit deflections are pre-stressing & post tensioning. These are specialized services your structural engineer can advise you on.
Re the role of individual structural members, they all are factors, primary or secondary, to the stability of the structural framework as a whole when subjected to varied magnitudes & directions of dynamic & static forces thru axes X,Y,Z.

How much na pagawa nang house design/plan sa mga contracror kasama structural + bill of materials + project specs + electrical for 200sqm and above na floor area?
Me napagtanungan ako nasa 80k na for 200sqm and below sa Bulacan area. Need ko lang nang comparison.
Tia.

Pwede ba directly i-swap ang water pump to an inverter pump? Need pa ba ng pressure tank if naka inverter na?
