Have had no problems w/ Pentair's WellMate bladder type pressure tanks. They retain pressure long w/ air pressure checks far between. The shell won't corrode, too.
Float or rod level switches, lots available & they all work fine. The rod level ones have no moving parts & work really well except when your water is on the hard side...would need periodic cleaning.
Pumps, go for those w/ good support & parts. Goulds or Grundfos. If you intend to hook hobo, get 2 identical ones to relieve you of downtime misery once they conk out....& they all conk out. The good ones just would serve you longer & have better chances of resurrection.
